Ditch formal wear for sun hats and shorts, kick off your shoes, bring along a picnic blanket and enjoy some great music at the klpac Symphonic Band’s first outdoor concert.
Against the idyllic backdrop of the Sentul Park lake, 34 musicians will be taking turns in groupings such as duets and quintets to entertain you. Expect many well-loved and familiar tunes such as Beauty and the Beast, The Lord of the Rings and The Merry Widow Selection. They’ll also throw in a Latin medley and a French number Frère Jacques too.
This casual, family-friendly concert is a great chance to see the musicians and instruments up close. And boy, do they have some surprises! Audiences will get to join in the fun with some interactive music activities too. Admission is free but donations are welcomed.
